Thank you for your support with Legion Solar 7. We want to share with you some updates.
Manufacturing Estimation
We have engaged with our supply partners to start the process of tooling, cables, and many other raw components. The purchase of electronic components for printed circuit board assembly has already started.
We have received our 40ft container of solar panels already and are excited to to get fulfillment going soon. We will start fulfillment of solar panels to you estimated for May 2023.
We have experienced a delay with the wireless components needed for the new solar regulator, microinverters, and battery commanders. Because of this we are estimating that these components may not be complete and ready for fulfillment until December 2023.
Logistics and Shipping Costs:
We've negotiated with some of the top shipping companies to get the absolute best rates and service available for shipping Legion Solar. We are passing on the lowest costs possible to you. We have begun building shipping costs into backerkit surveys. This is still in progress. However, you can view the current balance for shipping by going into your backerkit survey.
NOTE: We are not charging cards for shipping at this time. Our next update will be indicating specifically when cards will be charged for shipping as fulfillment draws nearer.
Hawaii and Puerto Rico backers might have additional shipping fees to be collected outside of backerkit due to limitations with regions in those territories being separated for building shipping fees. Our support team will contact you directly if additional shipping costs need to be collected.
For rural and/or delivery addresses that require special attention, backers will be contacted prior to shipment with an opportunity to change the delivery address or cover additional shipping charges.
Shipping costs for perks and add on perks are based on carrier and destination. Taxes such as VAT and GST are not included.
Local Free Pickup Option
You also have the option to pick up your items from our Fremont, CA warehouse (next to Tesla Factory). If you did not select “local pick up” in your backerkit survey but would like to do an in person pick up instead of shipping, please contact us immediately to avoid being charged for shipping.
What's Next
We will have another update released within the coming weeks that will specify when cards will be charged and when solar panels will begin shipping.

Hello Backers,
Backerkit surveys will be locked and add-on items added in backerkit will be charged on Thursday March 16th. Please be sure to finalize your selections to ensure your items are included during production.
There are still a few contributors who have not submitted their backerkit surveys. Surveys MUST be filled out in full and submitted in order for you to receive your items. You do NOT need to create a Backer Kit account to fill out the survey. In the survey you will be able to select your rewards preferences, provide your shipping information, and pledge for additional Add On products. Also, you will be able to update your shipping address on the survey any time before surveys are locked down.
You will also have the final opportunity to ADD Expansion Sets at Special Indiegogo deep discounted pricing from the Add-On section. 30% USA federal tax incentives has been extended through 2023. Please plan ahead regarding your system size and claim the add-ons when prompted. Prices will INCREASE after this campaign. This is your LAST CHANCE to get Legion Solar at these exclusive low prices.
Shipping charges were not collected during the live campaign. As we approach fulfillment, shipping charges will be collected on the Backer Kit platform. We will release an update when shipping costs are ready and when cards will be charged.

Roof Racking Solutions
Roof racking solutions for Composite Shingle, Tile and Metal roofs are avaiable. To configure your racking solution, please visit the System Builder.
Configure your system then tap Add to Cart and all of the items will automatically be calculated for you. Remove the items that you already own before checkout. Prices for aluminum are going up globally due to supply chain crisis. Be sure to get in your order before prices go up (again).
Property Planner Tool
To see how your solar panels fit on your property, please use the Property Planner Tool. You will be able to move, rotate and tilt your solar panels to aide you in optimizing your installation locations.

Legion Solar 7 campaign is coming to a close. The campaign is active for a few more hours. Now is the time to get in your contributions for any additional items at the lowest prices we will be able to offer before the campaign concludes.
We have seen many return backers get the new solar regulator and asked about expanding their current systems. We wanted to “sweeten” the offer we made for getting the solar regulator if you contribute for expansion sets. Now, if you contribute for 2 or more, instead of 3, expansion sets we will give you the solar regulator for free! Hurry and get your contributions in before time expires.
We will have additional updates in the coming days and weeks regarding backerkit surveys, confirming your items, manufacturing progress, and fulfillment schedules.
