Off Grid Controller
Off Grid Controller has undergone updated design improvements. Production has completed and fulfillment will commence in September.
Solar Regulator, Inverter, Battery Commander
We are pleased to announce that testing of the new mesh network solution is going very well. We are currently performing endurance testing where test systems are running 24/7 to check for signal integrity and reliability. Fulfillment for these components is scheduled to be Spring of 2025.

Here is an update for manufacturing and fulfillment of Legion Solar 7.
Solar Panels
Solar panels shipping has resumed. All outstanding solar panel fulfillment will be complete by Aug 31, 2024. If you selected local pick up in your backerkit survey, please contact our team as soon as possible so we can arrange a pick up date and time with you. Email our team at [email protected]
Off Grid Inverter
Off Grid Inverter fulfillment has completed.
Off Grid Controller
Off Grid Controller has undergone updated design improvements. It is in full production. Fulfillment for OGC is estimated to start in mid August 2024.
Solar Regulator, Inverter, Battery Commander
We are pleased to announce that we have made significant progress on the wireless communication of the Legion Solar 7. Legion Solar 7 implements the new mesh network solution where signals between inverters can "hop" to extend the wireless range and reliability. We are nearly complete with the new wireless mesh network implementation and we expect to start production by December 2024. Fulfillment for these components is scheduled to be Spring of 2025.
Batteries
All fulfillment for batteries have completed.
Optional Legion Solar 6 Model Available
Due to the extended timeline for Legion Solar 7, if you are interested in getting a working system sooner, the current Legion Solar 6 models are available to ship much sooner than the estimation for LS7 models. If this is something you are interested in, please contact our support team and we can make the necessary changes for you. Please let us know as soon as possible as there is a cut-off time in order to ensure we have components allocated for you. Email our support team at [email protected]
Roof Racking
We have a large amount of roof racking hardware in stock and available. Get your orders in and be ready to do your full install without having to wait on the racking hardware. Use our automated kitter on our site here: https://legionsolar.com/shop.html Simply input your system size and select your roof type. Press add to cart it and it will automate a cart of all items needed. Remove the solar sets and you are left with just the roof racking.

Here is an update for manufacturing and fulfillment of Legion Solar 7.
Solar Panels
Solar panels are still shipping. We experienced a little delay that had to pause or scheduled flow of panel shipments. We are resuming very soon. If you haven’t received your solar panels yet, you can expect to receive them during this Spring-Summer. If you selected local pick up in your backerkit survey, please contact our team as soon as possible so we can arrange a pick up date and time with you. Email our team at [email protected]
Batteries
Lithium batteries are considered dangerous goods so we MUST HAVE your consent and reply before we can ship the batteries to you. There are a handful of backers who are getting batteries who have NOT responded back to our support team for the consent for the shipment to go out.
If you have selected for in person pick up, please get in contact with our support team to schedule your pick up immediately. We’re not able to store the batteries long term and they need to be picked up or shipped this month. If not picked up, availability might not be guaranteed if you decide to wait.
If we do not hear back from you, there will be a $100/month storage fee for the batteries as they are taking up our warehouse space. The batteries will be deemed abandoned if we do not hear back from you by the end of this month (March).

Off Grid Inverter
Our OGI’s completed final assembly and testing. They are being kitted for fulfillment and have stated shipping out. If the perk you contributed towards includes an OGI, you can expect the shipment to go out within the next few weeks. Tracking will be emailed to you.
Electronics
Our estimated timeline projections for the new microinverter, battery commander, and solar regulator are still the same. We locked in our supplier for the mesh networking application that will be implemented in the new microinverter, battery commander, and solar regulator. This is a huge step forward and we're excited to have our partner locked in for this new technology being implemented in Legion Solar 7 models. Due to a necessary design change with the solar regulator, the WiFi remote access is not able to take place. We expect the electronics to be ready at the end of 2024.
Optional Legion Solar 6 Model Available

We want to wish all our backers a Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.
Here are the current projections for shipments and items that might need your attention. .
Solar Panels
Solar Panels shipments have been going out smoothly. We are continuing to get these shipments out in 100 set batches. The next batch will take place in 3 to 6 weeks. If you have selected for in person pick up, please get in contact with our support team to schedule your pick up. Off Grid Inverter
Off Grid inverter inventory arrived at our facility. They will be going through final assembly and quality control tests over the next couple of months. Then they will be kitted for fulfillment. We expect these to ship out after the Winter.

Dear backers,
We’re excited to announce that solar panels have resumed shipping. If you have not received your solar panels yet, you can expect them to ship to you within the next 2 to 10 weeks.
You were charged for shipping in Backerkit. If you are in a rural area, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, or Alaska, there might be additional costs for shipping. Our team will contact you if additional payment is needed.
If your perk includes batteries, this should have already shipped to you. If you did not receive it, please message our team at [email protected]
Before your battery can be shipped to you, an email will be sent to you requiring you to confirm the shipment, otherwise your battery will NOT ship.
Off Grid Inverters and Off Grid Controllers will likely be the next items available to ship and is scheduled to come in during Q2 of 2024.
As mentioned in the previous updates, the remaining items that are delayed are the electronics. This consists of the microinverters, battery commanders, and solar regulators. These are estimated to be available around the end of 2024.
If you selected in person pickup in your backerkit survey; Solar panels, battery, and off grid inverter, can be picked up now. If our team has not contacted you yet to arrange a pick up date and time, feel free to message us to schedule a time slot for pick up.
As we near the end of the year, we would recommend that you pre order additional sets and racking items to have it claimed for the federal tax incentive when you do your taxes in the upcoming Spring.
