Dear Contributors,
We are going to be resuming solar panel shipments very soon. Due to the space limitations mentioned in the previous update, we had to halt panel shipments for now. Our warehouse team has been working hard accomplishing the tasks needed in order to have adequate space available to process and kit solar panel shipments.
We are also currently in the process of hiring more staff. With new team members to be added, it will help to get solar panel shipments out as well. With our current timeline estimation, panels can go out as soon as the end of November.
The electronics and other components for Legion Solar are still seeing delays. One of our wireless module suppliers has discontinued a critical product leaving our engineers to find an alternative solution. This will push manufacturing of electronic components out to 2024.

Dear Contributors,
We wanted to send out this update to let you know on the progress that has taken place and timeline estimations.
We have been able to ship over 60% of the batteries so far. If the perk you contributed for includes a battery, or if you added one during your backerkit survey, we need your confirmation before the battery can be shipped to you. If you are getting batteries, you will get an email from our support team requesting you to respond with confirmation for the battery shipment. You must respond back to that email as it contains critical information and requires your written confirmation before the battery can ship to you.
Some backers have not yet responded back to the confirmation email. Be sure to check your spam, bulk, junk, and archive folders in case your email server pushed them there.
Also, some backers have not yet completed their backerkit surveys. Your surveys must be completed in full in order for your perk to be fulfilled to you.
Due to space limitations in our warehouse, we had to pause solar panel shipments for now. We will resume shipping solar panels to backers at the end of September.
When any of your item's ship, an email will be generated from the carrier with the tracking information and be sent to you.
As mentioned previously, we have experienced delays from the global semiconductor shortage with the wireless components needed for the new solar regulator, microinverters, and battery commanders. Because of this we are estimating that these components may not be complete and ready for fulfillment until December 2023 or later.
We’ll continue to post updates monthly and if the timeline estimations adjust, we will be sure to include the details on future updates.

Dear Contributors,
We’re excited to announce that our container shipment of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) has come in ahead of schedule. The batteries look great. They’ll be going through QA and prepping for fulfillment.
Solar panels and batteries will begin shipping to backers by the end of the month.
If you are getting batteries, you will get an email from our support team prior to the shipment going out. You must respond back to that email as it contains critical information and requires your written confirmation before the battery can ship to you.
Upon receiving your solar panels and batteries please check the items to ensure no damages occurred during transit.

Dear Contributoirs,
Today backerkit will be charging cards for shipping and add on items. The charges will begin to take place at 4pm PST. Be sure to check your backerkit surveys for any adjustments you need to make. Surveys will be locked shortly after cards are charged.
We highly recommend that select add on items that you are interested in now, this will ensure that your items are allocated for after production is complete and fulfillment begins. Prices will go up, so take advantage of the low prices available for a limited time. It’s the perfect time to get expansion sets at the reduced price, and for USA backers to capitalize on the solar federal tax incentive.
As we have mentioned in the previous updates, solar panels will be shipping first. We are estimating that panels will begin shipping to backers sometime in July.
If you would like to change your shipping option to an in person pick up to avoid paying for shipping, please message us right away.
When your panels are ready to ship tracking information will be provided to you.
Roof Racking Solutions
Roof racking solutions for Composite Shingle, Tile and Metal roofs are available. To configure your racking solution, please visit the System Builder. We highly recommend that you start thinking about racking now because due to the high demand of solar racking, components are currently experiencing long lead times and shortages. Prices are rising due to global aluminum price increases. Get your racking today to be safe.
Configure your system then tap Add to Cart and all of the items will automatically be calculated for you. Remove the items that you already own before checkout.
Property Planner Tool
To see how your solar panels fit on your property, please use the Property Planner Tool. You will be able to move, rotate and tilt your solar panels to aide you in optimizing your installation locations.

Thank you for your continual support with Legion Solar 7. We wanted to provide you with an update on what is taking place.
Solar Panels are ready to ship. We have been working with our packaging supplier and shipper to improve our packaging for Legion Solar because many solar panels have been getting damaged during transportation. Panels will now be shipped without the electronics inside the same box; this allows for more padding to be used for the solar panels. With this change being made, panels do not have to ship at the same time as with the electronics.
We have experienced delays from the gloabal semiconductor shortage with the wireless components needed for the new solar regulator, microinverters, and battery commanders. Because of this we are estimating that these components may not be complete and ready for fulfillment until December 2023.
To get a head start on fulfillment, solar panels will begin shipping out very soon while manufacturing is still currently underway for all of the other components.
What's Next
Backers have NOT been charged for shipping yet. Shipping charges are done through backerkit. Shipping costs have been built into backerkit and your surveys will reflect a balance owed which is for shipping.
Cards will be charged on June 15, 2023 through backerkit.
After cards are charged surveys will be locked. Solar panels will begin shipping within a few weeks after surveys lock.
If you would like to change your shipping option to an in person pick up to avoid paying for shipping, please message us right away.
